Welcome to Portland Central School

Our school supports students in a K–12 environment, providing a seamless and supportive transition between Primary and Secondary school.

We have highly competent and dedicated staff who are committed to providing a range of high quality learning experiences.

Learning is tailored to include opportunities for extension with high interest projects and individual learning plans for all students.

There are opportunities for flexible learning approaches in senior years, including: distance education pathways, career education and trade training opportunities.

Our School Wide Expectations (SWE) underpin education at our school. We believe every student has the right to learn in a safe, respectful environment. We know that when students feel safe and are respected their learning outcomes improve.

We look forward to working with you in close partnership to make a difference and promote student opportunities that align with individual goals and aspirations.
